From yesterday’s Keystone XL standoff in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. A little Lakota warrior proudly standing in front of a caravan of trucks that were successfully stopped before trespassing through the reservation.

Today, Oglala Lakotas protested trucks carrying the Keystone XL Pipeline through the Pine Ride Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Many were arrested, but they were ultimately successful at stopping the drivers. As a Nakoda living in Montana I have to say Aho and Wopina to the protesters who showed so much bravery and honor today. Those are some fierce Natives defending their; defending our land.
