Jenna Talackova, You Go Girl!

Although Jenna Talackova, a First Nations transgender woman, was fighting for the individual right to compete in the Miss Universe pageant, her case turned into something bigger. Because of the case it has now been ruled that all transgender women from here on out can compete for the title of, “Miss Universe”. Congrats and good luck Jenna! You are making your fellow Indigenous women extremely proud.
